Sub-processors & Data Sources

How to read this page

These are the third parties that process data on our behalf so the service can work, and the public sources we draw property records from. Each processor is bound by contract to use the information only to provide its service to us, and not for its own purposes.

We update this page before adding a new processor that handles personal information.

Processors

• Stripe, Inc. — payment processing, subscription billing, invoicing, and payment fraud signals. Receives your billing details and payment identifiers. Card data is collected by Stripe directly and never reaches our servers.
• Our VPS hosting provider — the servers, disk, and network on which the application and database run. Processes everything stored in the service.
• BatchData — skip-trace and property data provider. Receives the property address or name we ask it to trace and returns owner contact information.
• Tracerfy — second skip-trace provider, used as a fallback and for coverage. Same data flow as above.
• RentCast — property valuation and comparable-sales data. Receives the property address being valued.
• ipwho.is and ipapi.co — IP geolocation. Receive the IP address being looked up and return an approximate city, region, country, and coordinates.
• CARTO (CartoDB Inc.) — serves the map images used on the map and lead pages. Receives the IP address and browser details of anyone viewing a page with a map, in order to return the image. It receives nothing about the account or the data being viewed.

Public data sources

Property records — ownership, tax, and code-enforcement information — are drawn from government open-data portals and public records, including municipal and county GIS and open-data services. These are public records; we do not receive personal information about our customers from them.

What we do not do

• We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with advertisers, data brokers, or list vendors.
• We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers on this site or in the app.
• We do not allow our processors to use your personal information for their own marketing.
